SALES REPRESENTATIVE

JC PRODUCE - PICO RIVERA

Job Summary: This is a direct sales position targeting the small to medium white table cloth restaurants that maybe a sole proprietor or a regional restaurant group or franchisee. The effective Sales Representative will interact with current customers to ensure their satisfaction with the service and products supplied by JC Produce and to eliminate the possibility of customer churn while developing new sales leads and signing a minimum of one (1) new qualified customer per month. Additionally, it is expected new revenue sources from current customers will be identified to maximize revenue; this includes but is not limited to the use of the Company's fresh cut products and non-produce products such as eggs and milk. Sales Representative will interact with sales support and operations to effectively meet the customers needs. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of direct produce sales experience and a minimum of a two (2) year college degree. A combination of sales experience, formal sales training, and formal education will be considered. Effective written and verbal communications are a requirement. Must be able to effectively interact within a team environment and be able to build strong business relationships with customer. Ability to multi-task and to effectively organize events such as new customer or product rollouts a must. Employment offers will be contingent on clean DMV record, showing proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook through computer based testing, passing a background check, and a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.


FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

JC PRODUCE - PICO RIVERA

Job Summary: Advises and works with current and future customers. Supports and interacts with distribution to maintain customer satisfaction. Interface with Sales to develop strong working relations with new and current customers. Implements customer focused programs such as 5 A Days, Farmer Markets and Special Events. Educate and train prospective and current customers. Seek out and communicate to Sales new business opportunities within the specified territories. Reports contract infractions to supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Individual Goal Review with Sales Manager. 2.Check on five items in warehouse and report findings to Sales Manager. 3.FSR MEETING@ 9:00am Wednesdays in Pico Rivera. 4.Summarize next week’s goals and prepare to talk one on one as to plans. 5.Every other week fax to HR your time sheets and send original to Sales Manager. 6.Fax sales manager list of accounts prospected from prior week with 1 line comment of results. 7.Call dispatch for driver and back order issues (5:30-6:00am). 8.Call in Itinerary for the day to Sales Manager no later then 6:30. 9.Call on a minimum of 8 customers per day. 10.Call in mid day summary no later then 1:30. 11.Call on minimum of 3 prospective accounts. 12.Set aside 15 minutes at the end of the day to prepare for next days itinerary. 13.E-mail summary of days events Job Specifications: Must be flexible with work schedule and daily activities. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build effective relationships with customers. Sales or “back” of restaurant experience preferred. Must have excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and requires clean DMV record.
